Success in Mind - Motivate Your Personal Power

Success or failure is dependent on the mindset you allow yourself to live in. By means of command and control the dieting game has managed to takeover the mindsets of many. Bringing in its wake, shame, guilt and demotivation it encourages us to give up our power of choice and the very thing that keeps us motivated for success - personal power.

Escaping the insanity of the dieting mindsets and regaining control over food and life is easier than you may at first think! All it takes is a shift to a mindset of motivation - an 'Abundance' Mindset. Through the use of inward reflection, combining personal choice, a focus on life not food and the replacement of fear with joy motivation is rekindled and the 'Scarcity' Mindset of dieting is overturned.
Combine this with the long forgotten secrets of 'Conscious Eating' - the habits of people who have never dieted - and you have a new recipe for motivation and permanent weight loss! Left to its own natural ability, away from the powers of negative beliefs that suppress motivation your body will naturally become and stay the shape and size it was born to be - your body's 'Set Point'.
This process of successfully changing your mindset and increasing motivation for weight loss is one of inner reflection, self-discovery and choices for change. It takes thought and preparation, yet for those who realise that there is more to life than struggling with food and size, the journey is one of great personal discovery and joy. Before you realise it you have reached a new way of thinking and are living a happier, motivated life where food is a friend. The more you practice the new and re-learned skills, the easier they become.
So what is missing when you live in a dieting mindset? What has been forgotten over the decades? How have so many people lost their motivation and personal power, to food and weight obsession? The answers to these questions lie within each one of us in re-tuning to our 'Abundant' mindset!
When we give our personal power away by listening to the dieting game messages, our fears stop us thinking and questioning for ourselves. We allow ourselves to be told what to do, how to look, how to think, what to eat, how to exercise. We allow a 'Scarcity' mentality into our minds by believing that foods are either 'good' or 'bad' and we become demotivated and powerless. We even believe that there is no alternative.
The reality is that you alone hold the 'Keys' to your successful journey to find the weight you were born to be. Motivation can be found through your long forgotten or little used 'Abundant' mindsets. These mindsets are...
MINDSET 1 - ABUNDANT CHANGE
This is where you start by making changes in the way you think and feel and then in the actions you take. The first step of any journey is its preparation, and the acknowledgement of why you want to change and undertaking such a journey.
MINDSET 2 - ABUNDANT CONNECTIONS
On your journey through life are you connected or disconnected? When we live our lives in an 'Abundant' mindset we are connected. Through this connection we find our motivation. Our minds are connected to the feelings of our body. We are connected with our own inner beauty. We are connected to our deep intuition. We are focused on love, not food, so that we fully connect with the abundance of joy and beauty in the world around us. We are connected to the positive things people say, not the negative ones. We are healthily connected with the food we eat. In this mindset we seek, and find the abundant connections with joy and happiness we deeply crave.
MINDSET 3 - ABUNDANT TIME
Old habits and strange beliefs hinder our motivation and progress towards getting to know ourselves, and fully connecting with life and food. One of these most commonly held beliefs are that time is scarce. You may even feel demotivated by the fact that there is never enough of it to spend on yourself.
Time is taken up being so busy 'doing' for others, thinking and worrying about others. You may fill your time always helping others or looking after others. That there is never any time to focus on your own wants and needs can be a demotivating reality. This level of demotivation is linked to the belief that it would be selfish to put ourselves before others, even occasionally!
Of all the resources at our disposal, time is one of the most valuable. Like money, love, attention and food, time can be viewed from a standpoint of 'Scarcity' or 'Abundance' - the choice is yours. When your allow yourself some 'me time' your motivation can be easily lifted
MINDSET 4 - ABUNDANT FRIENDSHIPS
It is a sad state of affairs that we don't usually stop and give ourselves time to really get to know ourselves. Maybe that is because we are frightened of not liking what we may find. On the other hand, many are searching to be looked after by that special someone who can fill their lives with happiness. The problem is that we rarely find one person who makes us perfectly happy all the time!
The first true friendship we need to find is with ourselves. Yes, other people may come and go, adding to the abundance of attention, support, love and care in your life but if you do not love and care enough for yourself, then there is a scarcity. By missing out on a friendship with yourself you can be vastly undermining your own motivation for happiness.
MINDSET 5 - ABUNDANT POTENTIAL
Each person has the potential, deep within themselves, to be far more than they ever imagined possible. Believe it or not, you hold the key to your own motivation to go further, to achieve more and to be and do whatever their heart desires. There is no one in the world that doesn't face his or her own inner demons and fears. How some people confront and overcome them demonstrates the power of personal potential to motivate and achieve, once fear is faced and triumphed over.
MINDSET 6 - ABUNDANT LOVE
The fear of all fears - fat! That word which none may mention for fear of offending. For so many of us, this fear generates an even greater one; that of not being on a diet ever again. How on earth would we survive or be motivated to lose weight, surrounded by all this food, if we were not on a diet or at least contemplating one? The simple answer is by changing your set of beliefs and controls, and replacing them with a new set of rules and boundaries that motivate. You choose your own motivation enablers that create a life of 'Abundance' and love. Love is at the opposite end of the spectrum to fear. It is the fuel that motivates and binds us to our beliefs. Like a blanket it smothers the flames of our negative desires. Develop your own self-loving actions and you find this motivational mindset for yourself.
These are the mindsets of successful weight loss. They will lead you not only to find the weight that suits you best but also a life of balance, joy and yes, a true love of food.
