Get your unconscious mind motivated to keep you on track.
Your conscious mind may say it wants to do this or that but your unconscious mind automatically stops you because of the programming already there.
A way to increase your motivation is called 'anchoring.'
Think of a time when you were very motivated, and imagine stepping into that time again and feel how you felt when you were really motivated. Make the vision brighter and bigger and notice how your motivation becoming stronger in your mind's eye.
Identify where the feeling is in your body where it starts and how it moves. Think about a time in the future when you want to be more motivated as you continue to spin those feelings through your body. Anchor the feeling by squeezing your finger and thumb together.
Later you will find that when you squeeze your finger and thumb together you feeling of motivation will increase.
Motivation is what drives you as if nothing else matters.
It is driven by an unmet need not by satisfaction. If you don't feel motivated to do something maybe you need to re-examine your goals.
Some people are motivated partly by what they want for themselves and partly by a sense of competition with others to reach a goal or a target. This is why either participating in a race or a competition is so motivating.
Motivation is about motivating yourself and also being good at motivating others. When you are motivated your enthusiasm may also motivate others to try to succeed too.
You may be motivated by encouragement from a coach or a mentor too: someone who supports you and encourages you to keep your goal in view even when you feel as though you may never reach it.
